  1. Ain't freedom great? Welcome, Wisconsin, to the United States of America.

  2. Yeah, I LOVE that today is the start of the recall of Scott Walker and three state senators, as Wisconsin voters repudiate the right wing agenda, and of course also repudiate the role of big money that has corrupted and paid off the conservatives on the right.

Wonder how long it will be until the culture wars of 2011 are undone? I bet not much longer, within the next year or so.

And then we can all enjoy watching Walker walk off the political stage into the ignomy of being so thoroughly rejected by his own state, joining only two other governors in history -- Gray Davis of CA, and Lynn Frazier of NoDak.

The Republican agenda can only be a positive factor in the 2012 elections for the opposition to them...

  3. But the concealed carry law in Wisconsin has a lot of support, given the number of applications and the gun sales recently. I don't like Walker's approach to unions, but I do give him credit for signing this one bill.

  4. Greg, why is it that whenever we come up with a number, you immediately divide it by some total amount and claim it's too small to worry about.

Yet, when the Wisconsin CCW applications come in, you claim how great the number is, that it constitutes a "lot of support."

How's it look if you divide it by the total state's population?

  5. We were talking about political support for the concealed carry law. I don't know what Walker's future is, but I do predict that the law will remain. Once a state goes shall issue, it doesn't tend to change back.
