After sifting through six pages of hits (virtually all of them put up by Paulbots and other whackaloons) I will have to admit that, as usual, the forces of Dr. Meng--er, I mean--Dr. Paul have made sure that their opinion is the one that is going to come up first if you google it.

    Paul's a racist piece-of-shit.

This story reminds me of the one he tells himelf, of being present during a late term abortion where a living, breathing, human baby was killed by an abortionist--a killing that he did or said nothing about at the time.

    Fuck Ron Paul.

  2. Democulo, maybe there's a reason you had to go through six pages to find an article written by a guy who is a racist to find some old piece of garbage from the dumpster.
People know the author, Jonathon Capehart for what he is. Here's another piece of his 'brilliant work'.

However, I think you wouldn't know a racist if you actually saw one.
What would you think if Santorum ran a campaign,
    "WHITES FOR SANTORUM"?
You'd be all over your high horse named White Guilt screaming RACISM! RACIST! RACIST!!!! Does anybody doubt this is true? I doubt it. Well, here's your chance to shout RACIST! RACIST!

Have at it, Democulo, you and your White Guilt can scream racist all you want. There it is, right in front of you.
I have to admit, you and your kind have completely changed my mind on the abortion issue.

  3. "However, I think you wouldn't know a racist if you actually saw one."

Why not? He looks at one every night in the mirror. If he was projecting any more he'd belong in a movie theater.

Sure, sure I've changed your mind on the abortion issue. You mean you're for it, now? Is that because to an asshole like you, punitive abortion, to rid the world of those with whom you disagree is a good idea? Spell it out, clown.

Ron Paul's bots had to go back 40 fucking years to dredge up this "testimonial" to his non-racism? So, that, in your mind wipes the slate clean? You're fucking delusional.

Rick Santorum, btw, is also a piece of shit.

Sounds like you think that it would be a OK to abort a baby if the parents could determine if the baby was going to be gay?

Is that ok with you Dumbass?

  5. Democulo, thank you so much for proving you are too lazy, too stupid, too partisan, or too racist to watch the video provided by the black folk who support the candidate.
The thing is my poor pitiful Democulo, you are a preposterous comedy. You speak from prejudice and ignorance because you lack any capability to speak from knowledge or authority.

  6. The reason I made the title of this post a question is because I distrust politicians. Yet, Ron Paul does seem to be different.

    1. Mikeb, there must be a reason he is known as Dr. No. We know he doesn't have lobbyists lined up at his office door and he doesn't make deals for favors, cash, or a sinecure position on some corporatists board.

Re this video: It was not made or put out by his campaign. He was on the campaign trail when it hit the internet. He was not aware of it until an interviewer played it for him and he said he didn't remember the fellow or this particular incident.
I believe that. This is from ABC's The View:
Eventually Paul got so busy he took on a partner. Jack Pruett, who was then fresh out of his obstetrics/gynecology residency, says when he first sat down in Paul's office, he was told there were two stipulations he would have to agree to before joining the practice.

"He said, 'No. 1 is we will not perform any abortions.' And I said, 'That's fine; I can live with that. What's No. 2?' " he remembers.

No. 2, says Pruett, was that the practice would not participate in any federal health programs, which meant, as Paul described it, "that we will see all Medicare and Medicaid patients free of charge, and they will be treated just like all of our other patients, but we're not going to charge them and accept federal funds."

Still in debt from his medical training, Pruett said that was a little harder for him to swallow. "But I liked Ron, so I decided that I would agree to that, too. And in all those 20 years, we never accepted one penny of federal money. We saw all those patients for free, delivered their babies free, did their surgeries free; whatever they needed we did, and we didn't charge them."

It is my firm belief that what you see and hear with Ron Paul, is not pretentious or pandering, but who he is.
And probably, much to democulo's chagrin, out of all those people he helped for free, you gotta think that in that part of the country, there were plenty of brown and black people, especially since he was the only baby doctor in town.
btw, Mikeb, thank you posting the video.

  7. I would imagine even though Ron Paul would not perform abortions himself, he wouldn't interfere if other doctors did? Is that fair to say?

  8. Orlin, honey:

I watched the video, dumbfuck. I've also read reams of Paul's bullshit and it's debunking.

One video of an event that happened 40 years ago, in your mind, negates all of the information that's out there about Paul. Who's lazy?

    Mikeb302000:

"I would imagine even though Ron Paul would not perform abortions himself, he wouldn't interfere if other doctors did? Is that fair to say?"

    This:

"Paul also opposes abortion, which he believes should be addressed at the state level, not the national one. He remembers seeing a late abortion performed during his residency, years before Roe v. Wade, and he maintains it left an impression on him. “It was pretty dramatic for me,” he says, “to see a two-and-a-half-pound baby taken out crying and breathing and put in a bucket.”"

    is from here (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/22/magazine/22Paul-t.html?pagewanted=3).

Apparently the incident seared itself into Paul's brain to the extent that he remembers all of those details. On the down side, it doesn't appear that he filed a complaint with any agency regarding what he had witnessed. Lying fuckbag.
