Emily Miller on Fox and Friends

via TTAG where of course they just love this DC gal and her gun. Naturally none of the Armed Intelligentsia had a problem with that ridiculous stat Emily threw out.  "46% of women are now reporting having a gun in the home."

  1. Gallup reports that forty-seven percent of households have a gun in 2011. Are you calling Gallup ridiculous as well?

    1. No, what I'm calling ridiculous is the transparent bullshit that 46% of women have guns in the home. That includes all the ones who are opposed to or indifferent to their husbands' gun ownership.

    2. I doubt that the forty-seven percent of American households are primarily made up of single men. Some, perhaps, but not most. That means that if the data are correct, Miller's claim isn't too far off reality.

  2. There were almost 11 million guns sold in the US last year and quite a few of them were bought by women.
