Accidental Shooting in Alabama Gun Shop - No Charges

Local news reports

A man at an Andalusia gun shop was injured in an accidental shooting Wednesday.

Police were dispatched just after 10:45 a.m. to the intersection of East Three Notch and College Street after the man, who was not identified, was shot while cleaning a handgun.

“It was one of those accidental things,” said Lt. Paul Dean. “The gun went off while he was cleaning it, and (the bullet) took off a small portion of his left index finger.”

Dean said emergency personnel transported him to Andalusia Regional Hospital, where he was treated and released.
I love that little bit of down South wisdom, "It was one of those accidental things."  I'm sure the reporter edited it from the original, "It was one of THEM accidental things." But either way, the gun just went off.

Besides a small portion of his index finger, this guy should lose his God-given, Constitutionally-protected gun rights as well.

  1. It's curious that you're a proponent of standard grammar, since leftist grammarians these days are promulgating the notion that all dialects are of equal value.

    1. All legitimate dialects are fine, but that is the language of the untermensch of the South. These are the people who need to be sterilized and eventually replaced as their property is redistributed to more enlightened, fully evolved humans without swollen amygdalas.
