AmChar Gun Wholesalers Can't Account for Missing Guns

Democrat and Chronicle

I suppose this is just another example of the unfair paperwork requirements gun dealers have to put up with. With onerous rules like having to account for all the weapons in your inventory, anybody would be a criminal, right Kurt, right Greg?

  2. We've had serious discussions about how some paperwork irregularities are just minor mistakes and others are coverups of crimes.

You have dismissed any discussion that the paperwork requirements may be too much in the past, and you obviously don't want to discuss it now; you just want to make snide remarks, so why should we even bother to spend time analyzing this situation?

  3. Obviously, there is no moral obligation for a commercial enterprise to keep close track of its inventory, although it would seem quite fair to question the business acumen of any such operation that cannot seem to keep close track of its valuable inventory.

By the way, herbivore, since you appear to be among the cud-chewing bed-wetters who do wish to illegitimately impose such a moral (not to mention legal) obligation on gun owners and the gun industry, can you account for the guns from your active days as a "gun criminal"?

    1. Although some of Mikeb's statements turn out to be somewhat less than reliable, it is from my experience that many criminals who are hell-bent on perforating your shopping spree with hot lead have greater assess to PROFESSIONAL GRADE weaponry then ever before.

As the Field Operations Security Officer (and later industry consultant) for a three man Tactical response team charged with ensuring YOUR SAFETY, in the face of Cripps, Skinheads, EX-KGB Russian mob along with the other usual suspects for such a vile atrocity as shoplifting which ran rampant one of our nations most dangerous malls I have firsthand experience of the nefarious deeds of heavily armed criminals. Most criminals come in packs (including up to a dozen members in my experience), and are packing REAL assault rifles, like Ex-Soviet Bloc AK-74s, FAMAS, QBZ-95 and H&K G3 (not the civvie legal toys) and such firepower simply cannot be matched by a common handgun (let alone an unarmed victim). I have even stumbled upon the occasional Pancor Jackhammer and even a sawn-off Barrett M82. We are losing the arms race, having long ago traded the tried and true .38 cal Model 10s for Beretta 92Fs and Mossberg 500s, and finally for Glock 18s and (c3 permit) SCARs. Pistols need a MINIMUM of 15 rounds to be effective and ought to have more stopping power than your average pea-shooter (I’m talking .45 acp .357 sig, 10mm auto, or .44 mag in a IMI Desert Eagle or an AutoMag).

Something must be done to stop the madness. Until then, I will face it boldly whenever it comes to my mall.

    2. Look, Geckoweenie, or whatever you call yourself, some of us who comment here actually know about guns, so claiming that you've run into a sawn-off Barrett in a mall or claiming that a .44 Magnum is a pea shooter won't fly. How about you get a life, even if you have to buy one at the kiosks that you say you protect.

    3. Obviously, you know noting about guns, except for the "guns" that you use in a video game, cause you obviously are not old enough to play with the big boy toys.

I wake up every morning to protect helpless brats like yourself from becoming Bubba's new puppy in the mall bathroom, and being sold as a ass-slave on the trafficker "people" market.

So since all you little shits always ask me "why do you carry 8 clips for your FN SCAR in .338 Lapua" or "why do you double-layer your body armor" or "why do you have multiple weapons holstered on a singular appendage" (I have 3 holsters on the left leg, 2 on the right leg, and two on each arm respectively), I have to explain that without ME, you would be ALOT more in touch with your feminine side, cause you would be the "girlfriend" of some wealthy cocaine-lord freak, or we would have been rid of your sorry ass long ago WHEN Yakuza hitmen decided they wanted to pop a cap in your sorry ass after you got the last World of Warcraft at the video game (boob tube) store.

So unless you like being a homosexual ass-puppy, or like being robbed by thugs with a cut down Barret M82 in .50BMG (it didn't make the news cause we cannot publicly reveal security information for a period of 6 years), then you have no place to complain.

And if you persist in asking, A ONE TIME experience in the military DOES NOT make one a homosexual!

So, climb up the basement stairs and cry to mommy, if I offended you or any of your airsoft peashooters (cause thats all your allowed to have).

    4. Specop, are you sure the sawed-of Barrett was just .50 BMG? Or had it perhaps been customized to fire the Anzio 20/50?

    5. Oh yea, and I did try to buy a life from some quack who set up shop at the mall. All I got was an enema and some Bullshit rant about my weener. So you can kiss my ass about all you spiritual "alternative" civvie medicine.

    6. Kurt '45superman' Hofmann:

It was inane enough without that all-powerful round. A bayonet was attached. It had several handguns, shotguns, UZIs, and grenade launchers attached under-barrel style to the aftermarket picatinny rails. It had a custom 50 round drum mag, and was converted to fire full auto. The shemale skinhead who I took it from (wrestling it, literally, from his cold head hands, after the knife fight that had ensued after my MP5 had jammed -NEVER using H&K again!) was completely oblivious to the inherent inaccuracy of the weapon. It was aimed using a laser sight, and they didn't bother to mount even a cheap Chinese scope.

  4. Thanks to technical difficulties--goddamned modem, router, adapter, and Internet provider...--I've been off-line for a few days. I'm back.

As far as I'm concerned, a gun store should be under no more obligation from any government entity to keep an inventory than a book store is. Rights are rights.
