Bill Cosby on Obama and Zimmerman and Guns

7 comments:

  1. 1. Shouldn't Crowley be in favor of guns, according to your belief? She's fat and white.

    2. Obama is the president. His job should be difficult. When he does things that many don't want, he shouldn't expect any different.

    3. Obama has tried the imperious approach. That didn't work, either.

    4. Any kind of power in the wrong hands and minds is dangerous.

    5. Cosby at least sides with us on how guns can be used to defend one's home.

    6. What Cosby doesn't realize is that what he wants is none of my concern.

    7. No, I'm not going to persue suspects. But if I'm attacked, I have the right to respond to defend my life.

  2. I wonder if Mr. Cosby is still pleased with the President now that into his second term all of these various issues are surfacing. This interview did take place before his reelection after all.
I do respect Mr. Cosby's thoughts on these issues since he is actually willing to put some thought into things. He got a lot of people ticked when he was quoted saying that his peers need to start speaking regular english instead of the ghetto variety.
Keep in mind that respect doesnt equal agreement.

    1. He didn't have a bad word to say about the president, blaming all the failures on his adamant opposition. Although I agree that the racist Republicans are primarily to blame, I also fault Obama himself to a degree.

    2. Aaaand we're back to the whole thing that the Republicans are racists--It can't be that they have different principles and oppose the Prez based on these. No! They're Racists!

  3. Mr. Cosby tips his hand at the 7:05 mark of the video. Mr. Cosby states, "And so I had the gun in my pocket. The reason why I had it was to protect my family. But I also knew that anything that went on outside and it appeared to be something that wasn't on the okay I went out with my gun. And the thought was if this person is not right or if that doesn't move when I say move, I'm going to show that I have a gun."

While that may be Mr. Cosby's state of mind, it is not my state of mind. Mr. Cosby is guilty of projection. He assumes that everyone must think and act like him. He is wrong. And it is wrong to tell me I cannot have something because someone else isn't responsible with it.

    1. I don't think Cosby thinks that.

"He assumes that everyone must think and act like him."

But some do. Too many gun owners are unfit. Why do you deny it? Why do you exaggerate the gun control position on this?

    2. I'll tell you why I deny it: You've yet to show me evidence that supports your claim.
