Florida Concealed Carry Permit Holder and his Girfriend Terrorize Dunkin' Donuts

Huffington Post

reports with video.

A Dunkin' Donuts employee in Lauderhill, Fla. was beaten and pistol-whipped Tuesday for delivering the wrong kind of coffee to a customer, and the ugly incident was caught on camera.
The employee accidentally gave drive-thru customer Alexis Longo an iced caramel coffee instead of the iced vanilla coffee she ordered, reports the Miami Herald. Longo parked her car in the parking lot to tell the employee about the wrong order, and when he realized his mistake, he asked Longo what he could do to re-make her drink properly.
That's when things started to escalate. Rajay Hall, the Dunkin' Donuts employee, came forward to NBC Miami to talk about the assault.
"The girl came in. She was getting upset," said Hall in the video above. "She was screaming at me, just like cursing at me." Hall pleaded with her to let him make it right.
"I made a mistake, I'll do everything I can to fill that mistake," he said. "I asked them, 'What do they want in the coffee?' She was like, 'I don't know, just make back the coffee.'"
Longo allegedly tried to hit Hall, but her husband Jeffrey Wright intervened and allegedly assaulted him instead. A security camera in the store captured the entire altercation, which started with punching and escalated to Wright beating Hall with a gun.

  1. You left the part about Wright being licensed as a security guard. That's different from just an ordinary citizen. He was one of those people that you and the Brady Bunch believe have a reason to be armed.

    1. Bullshit, Greg. He's one of you concealed carry guys, plain and simple.

    2. If you're going to deny legal realities, what can I do?

    3. Bullshit back atcha, Mike. He's a licensed security guard. Guess the "only ones" aren't the "only ones", huh?

    4. Moonshine, you and Greg have no integrity when it comes to the gun debate. You think because you're fighting for your rights you can say anything.

Security guards and civilian gun owners are in the same category. The "only ones" are cops and military. But because you're a dishonest gun-rights fanatic, you change the definition when it suits.

The status of a security guard is different from an ordinary citizen.

    6. In addition to what Greg says, folks on your side are renown for having armed, private security. I won't say that its been advocated or excused on this blog or by some of your friends like Laci, DG, Baldr, etc. because I can't remember if I'm thinking of their posts or just E.N.'s constantly reposted comments, but plenty of the celebrities on your side have their armed security and don't want to give that up.

    7. Mikeb has said in the past that celebrities and billionaires deserve security. I have to wonder if he expresses that opinion at Occupy meetings.

    8. Greg, are you denying that licensed security guards are closer to concealed carry permit holders than they are to the police?

    9. Mike,

None of that matters--when we talk about "only ones" we're not talking about people who work for the government, we're talking about the "only ones" your side thinks has legitimate reasons to be armed, and we include people according to what most gun controllers say. Most would allow at least some security guards to be armed. However, Most would NOT allow your friend to carry a gun in New Jersey like you would.

    10. I'm saying that security guards are a special status. They are empowered to do things that ordinary citizens are not. The same is true in many states about carry license holders. But the same is also true about the police. Beyond that, I don't know what you mean by "closer."

  2. Other than these two individuals being criminals there isn't much to say. The criminal justice system is handling it, as it should.

    1. Well, let's give due process a chance, shall we. Hidden criminals or maybe even good guys turned bad.

  3. Maybe the employee said something like “what are you doing here?” Them's fightin’ words where Mike is from.

    1. You know, I hadn't thought of that, but you're right. He might have also provoked the attack by asking if he wanted skim milk to save calories.
