Divine Intervention

  1. That might qualify as divine intervention. A revolver sort of takes a lot of mechanical issues out of the range of possibilities, minus forgetting to load it at all. But then, they have good writers.

    "There's
nothing worse than hearing a 'click' instead of a 'bang' when you
    really need a ''bang''!"

  2. But even God herself wouldn't have protected their hearing. They'd all be deaf after all those gunshots in a small room. That's one more reason to ban all guns, right?

    1. Does the military use ear protection? Ever seen a beat cop wearing earplugs?

Hearing loss is mostly genetic, so a better argument would be to legislate nature, but that delivers us to the same quandary of ineptitude inherent in any functioning government.

    2. That's an idiotic statement, troll. Loud noises cause hearing loss.

Soldiers and beat cops don't normally wear hearing protection because most of the time, they don't need it, and it's more important hear or see possible threats. If they know they are going to be shooting, range time or preplanned attack, they'll wear protection.
I've been in somewhere north of thirty years, all of it in combat arms, and I have documented hearing loss. I'm sure there may be some genetic factors involved too, but the damage is physical.

  3. It's not Devine intervention. That's why they call it "spray and pray"- its Devine intervention if you happen to hit your target. It's laughable that some people argue certain weapons are better for shooting wildly. They all miss when you don't aim.

  4. But, is Pulp Fiction a great movie, or what?

    1. It is that, though I'll point out that Tarantino has taken a long time to get over it. It was his time at bat when he knocked the ball out of the park, and for many years, he kept repeating that same swing over and over.
