Michigan Man Gets Twelve Years for Gun Range Murder

Jessce Stearn

Local news reports

A Livingston County man found out he'll be spending the next 12 years behind bars earlier Thursday. He's accused of shooting and killing another man at a gun range.
Jessce Stearn pleaded guilty back in September to second degree murder and felony fire arm possession.
Police say stern shot Charles Kimball to death back in June 2012.
Stearn originally claimed the shooting was an accident, but police say, he was bragging about the murder while in jail and got caught.

  1. I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you! You mean his fellow criminals actually told on him?

    1. Put these types away for longer, and our rates of violent crime would drop even more. No gun control needed.

    2. That's simplistic bullshit. We already hold the record for locking people up longer.

    3. Mikeb, we lock people up indiscriminately. If we didn't put people away for silly drug violations, we'd lose that record.

    4. That could be another of your lies, unless you really are ignorant of the facts. In my post today about the prison population by state, the article mentions that non-violent drug detainees make up 25%. Now that's a lot, I grant you, but if you take them away, the US is still on top, and among the States, Louisiana, the gun paradise, still wins the prize.
