Ohio Man Kills Wife, Daughter, Granddaughter and Himself

Four people are dead in what the Defiance County, Ohio, Sheriff's Department is investigating as a triple murder-suicide.
Police say Robert Garza Sr., 68, shot and killed his wife, Christina Garza, 61; daughter, Zoila Garza, 42; and granddaughter, Rebecca Garza, 15, inside a home in the 25000 block of Bowman Rd. in Defiance.
Robert Garza Sr. then shot and killed himself, police say.
A family member found the bodies sometime Thursday. The four were last seen at 3 p.m. Wednesday, police say.
The Defiance County Sheriff's Department continue to interview neighbors, family and friends, but believe Robert Garza Sr. was the perpetrator.

  1. Another crazy old crabby white guy, committing murder and suicide-- probably with another legal gun -- because we are too lax in our gun laws.

    1. 1. I'm still waiting for a full-length picture of you. You could be old, flabby, and white, too, for all we know. You certainly are crabby. But since those are disqualifying characteristics, in your view, we need to verify if we can believe you.

      2. You also have yet to explain how we could have known that this man would do this act. Unless you are arguing that we should remove all guns from private hands, which you gun control advocates rarely admit, you're left without much in the way of a pre-crimes department.

    2. 1. First the personal attack
      2. Then the paranoid false claim of gun confiscation.

    3. 1. Dog Gone made a personal attack, and I called her on that.

      2. I'm waiting for any of you to explain how you would prevent an incident like this from happening.

    4. That's easy, no gun in the home.

    5. Well, Anonymous, at least you admit the real goal of gun control.

Which you would achieve, how--through "the paranoid false claim of gun confiscation"?

    7. Strict gun control would result in fewer homes with guns and therefore fewer incidents like this as well as fewer stolen guns.

By the way, this guy probably had a concealed carry permit but because he killed himself he won't count on the tally of revocations and suspensions.

By the way, this guy probably voted for Obama and was a regular and generous donor to the Brady Campaign . . .

See what I did there? Exactly what you did.

    9. There you go again, Mikeb, playing fast and loose with the truth. Probably? You have no evidence.

But at least you admit the gun control goal: total disarmament of private citizens.

    10. I understand why you guys get so defensive when I point out that the bizarre claim that concealed carry permit holders are so much more law-abiding than everyone else is ridiculous.

Actually, I won't worry about such claims of yours until you can back them up convincingly. I suspect I'll have nothing to worry about, ever.

    12. Mikeb, you call anything that questions your positions defensive. But it's logical to ask what evidence you have to support your claims.

    13. What personal insult? He was talking about the guy in the story.
You asked to explain how this could be avoided, I did, and I'm right.
Again you ASSume because of that answer I agree with banning guns, Wrong, but you always lie about what I say, so nothing new there.
