Quote of the day:

The thing is, shameless lying and ignorance works surprisingly well as a debate tactic. It’s hard to argue with someone who not only has signaled that he doesn’t care what the truth is but is downright proud of how little he actually knows. Such a person is not amenable to being educated. Once the pretense of really caring one way or another about what is right and what is wrong has been abandoned, all avenue of discourse is shut down.

    1. Obviously, you didn't read the article.

Seriously, I don't need to pay these people to be the straight men and make idiots of themselves by showing their ignorance.

They do it of their own free will,

Thank you for being yourself and helping to prove my point.

  2. Ah, poor Anon -- conservatives (which define most gun huggers, ammosexuals, and pro-gun fetishists) routinely believe things which are factually false, and usually which also betray them as horrible human beings.

You have brilliantly proved Laci's point.

    1. If he had a sense of shame--he would be feeling it.

But, he has proven that the right not only embraces ignorance, but does indeed see it as a virtue.

      That probably strengthens his convictions.

      very, very sad.

  3. Your strawmen don't invalidate my point that your quote is a perfect description of gun grabbers.

    1. Ignorance is not a strawman when debating issues. It is proof that the debater has no clue what they are talking about, thus always wrong.

    2. The term gun grabber is both inaccurate and silly. The only people we want to grab guns from are the unfit and dangerous ones. That's what makes us different from the gun rights fanatics who don't give a fuck who can get guns as long as they, the gun rights fanatics, not inconvenienced.
