  1. I hope TS noticed that this one is an overall stat and not limited to guns.

    1. You guys like using murder rates when comparing the US to England and Wales, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, etc. Murder rates conveniently disappear when you do any state to state comparison because you don't like the results. So it's replaced with "gun deaths". It speaks more to the dishonestly of your movement because you do like using the metric of murder, but only when it fits the message. It's not like you guys legitimately think "gun deaths" is the better measure.

    2. Boy, you're a hard guy to please. This post adheres to your standards, so what do you do, you go off on a rant about other posts.

What do you think about the incredibly worse situation in the US for women compared to those other countries? That would be an on-topic comment.

    3. These figures fall in line with the total murder rate. It doesn't have anything to do with gender.

I know- asking for consistency is being "hard to please".

    4. What's inconsistent about talking about violence against women?

Your problem is that graph really sticks it to gun rights without ever saying anything about guns.

    5. What's inconsistent is that you guys use murder rates when you can, but when the numbers aren't there to support you, you switch to "gun deaths" and then act all confused when we point out there's a difference.

  2. Seems like women are incredibly safe in all these countries. Is there any other valid conclusion?

  3. No data source, typical of these memes. And of course, in the US, women make up less than 25% of the victims of homicide.
