Michigan 16-Year-old, Pretending to Be Clint Eastwood, Kills his Older Brother

Local news reports

Police said a 16-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his brother, thinking a handgun was unloaded when he pointed it at the 21-year-old.

The younger brother told authorities he took the handgun into his brother's room, and said something to the effect of, "Do you feel lucky?" before pulling the trigger, Blackman-Leoni Department of Public Safety Deputy Director Jon Johnston said in an email.
Police have not released any names.

Johnston said the parents were at the grocery store and the brothers were the only people at the residence on the 5000 block of Big Rock Street in Stonegate Farms.

It is not known who the firearm belonged to, as it did not belong to either parent or the victim, Johnston said.

  1. I always get, "Are you feeling lucky?" mixed up with, "Go ahead, make my day."

I thought it was just innocent entertainment. Never realized it would spawn a new culture in the U.S.A.

    1. Yeah, nobody EVER thought that innocent freedom of speech (entertainment or otherwise) would have deadly effects on any society, culture or thoughts anywhere or at any time.

Maybe that's why so many other countries don't have the First Amendment and control speech and thought so things like this don't happen to them, or not supposed to anyway.

All actions in this world start out with a simple thought by someone, somewhere. The problem is someone didn't think of the consequence of an idea when taken past the idea stage, no matter how "innocent" the idea may have seemed.

  2. The continues amout of violence in videos, tv, movies, etc., has nothing to do with the rising amount of violence in the society?
