Florida One-year-old Accidentally Shot by Sibling - No Charges Expected

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accidental shooting of a one-year-old child.

Preliminary investigations reveal two children – ages three and one – were left alone inside a vehicle.  The three-year-old obtained a handgun that was left inside the vehicle and accidentally shot it. The bullet struck the one-year-old child.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident, and no criminal charges are expected this evening.

  1. Here in the nanny state, not only is it illegal to leave your children unattended in an automobile, if the temperature exceeds eighty degrees, liberal totalitarians may call animal control after you have left your dogs unattended for more than ten minutes.

    As an intellect, I may be able to help organize a concerted effort by Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Louisiana and the Virginias to simply wrest state control of Florida by force from the wicked and short-sighted powers that occupy the seats of power there.
